Introduction: Sabarmati University Distance Education Courses is one of the most popular universities in the state of Gujarat dedicated to nurture skill and interdisciplinary education. The university was established in 2009 under state legislature of Gujarat act no:8 and further amended with act no:20 in the year 2019.
Formerly the university was kwon as the (Calorx Teachers’ University) the only goal was to become torchbearers of quality education through research based practices and development of skills among the youth and provide interdisciplinary education. The university was first granted the prestigious status of state private university in 2009 and was later updated with the Act No. 20 in the year 2019.
The university is duly endorsed by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
Achieving accolades and success as a regular university the institute then introduced a new chapter as distance Education and a part of it envisaged dream to bring higher education to the door steps of individuals who need it the most but is unable to have it due to many personal reasons. Through the distance education programs offer courses, for instance, undergraduate and postgraduate programs to suffice the need of students who wants to study while they work.

Sabarmati University Distance Education Courses Admission Process
For offline admission:
- Candidates must fill out and submit the application form available on University’s official website to apply for all UG, PG, Certificate, and Diploma Courses.
- Complete all relevant information carefully and attach (self-attested) copies of all required documents.
- Candidates must pay for the application form with a check or a DD payable at Ahmedabad, drawn in the name of “CALORX TEACHER’ University”.
- The completed application form should be send by post or in-person, along with necessary documents and a DD/ Cheque to the official address of Sabarmati University.
Documents Required
- Marksheet and Certificate of 10th / 12th/ Graduation / PG Degree (if required).
- Certificate of Domicile
- Transfer certificate / Caste Certificate
