The IndiaAI Innovation Center (Foundational Models) seeks a General Manager who will lead the end-to-end planning, coordination, and management of initiatives under its Foundational Models pillar. This position requires steering program design, guiding implementation activities, aligning multiple stakeholders, and ensuring strong governance mechanisms. The General Manager will play a central role in driving the successful execution of all initiatives sanctioned within this pillar.

Education
- A Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in any discipline from a university or institution recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) or the Government of India.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Overall Experience:
- More than 15 years of professional experience, with substantial exposure to managing major programs, projects, or large-scale initiatives.
- Relevant IT/Government Experience:
- At least 3 years of prior experience overseeing IT-focused projects within Government departments, Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), Autonomous Bodies, or other major public-sector programs.
- Additional Competencies:
- Background in technology-driven programs, research and development initiatives, or innovation-led environments.
- Working knowledge of Government of India procedures, administrative processes, operational guidelines, and regulatory frameworks is considered an advantage.
General Instructions
- Candidates already employed in Government/PSUs/Autonomous Bodies must apply through proper channel or provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
- DIC/IndiaAI may fill or not fill any advertised positions without providing a reason.
- All positions are purely temporary and do not guarantee future permanent employment with DIC/IndiaAI.
- Appointments may be terminated with one month’s notice or salary in lieu of notice.
