Introduction: Dibrugarh University Distance Education Courses, the main regular university is located in the eastern most part of India, and was established in 1965 which was established through the Dibrugarh University Act, 1965, enacted by the Assam Legislative Assembly. The Dibrugarh University Directorate of Open and Distance Learning (DODL), was established in the year 2001 with a vision to reach the poor section of society who are unable to complete their education due work reasons, poverty or distance of the colleges from their home town. To serve the deprived youth the university offers post graduate and undergraduate classes and courses. These programs provide youth with relevant degrees and skills that help them get employed in the various sectors.
