GSK Scholars Programme 2025-26, The GSK Scholars Programme is a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative by GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals Ltd. (GSK Pharma), created to help academically strong students from low-income families pursue an MBBS degree. This programme supports India’s broader goal of strengthening the healthcare sector and promoting STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education.
Through this initiative, first-year MBBS students studying in government medical colleges can receive up to INR 1,00,000 per year for as many as 4.5 years, helping them cover essential academic expenses throughout their studies. So far, the GSK Scholars Programme has assisted more than 300 MBBS students, showcasing GSK’s ongoing dedication to making medical education more accessible and inclusive across India.

Eligibility Deadline
(GSK Scholars Programme 2025-26)
- Students must be enrolled in the first year of an MBBS programme at a government medical college.
- Applicants must have secured at least 65% marks in their Class 12 board examination.
- The annual family income of applicants must be below INR 6,00,000 from all sources.
- The scholarship is open to Indian nationals only.
- Children of employees of GSK Pharma and Buddy4Study are not eligible to apply.

Up to INR 1,00,000 per year for 4.5 years
Note: Scholarship funds can only be utilised for academic expenses, which include tuition fees, exam fees, books, hostel fees, food and seminars. If funds remain, they will be used for stationery, online learning, and payment of internet/data pack bills.

- Bank account details of the applicant
- Recent photograph

- In case of a single parent or orphans, the Death Certificate of the Parent/s
- Disability Certificate (in case of a person with disability)

- Fill in the required details in the online application form.
- Upload relevant documents.
- Accept the ‘Terms and Conditions’ and click on ‘Preview’.
- If all the details filled in by the applicant are correctly showing on the preview screen, click on the ‘Submit’ button to complete the application process
