Introduction: Karnataka State Open University Courses is a pioneer institute in distance education in the state of Karnataka initiated in the year 1996 under the State Legislature Act 1992. The university is build upon the goal to encourage the distance education and offer various programs to the needy section of the society.
The university is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and Distance Education Bureau (DEB).
The university has large capacity and is able to offer various programs for the benefit of its students who are unable to attend regular college due to the professional commitments or geographical distance from the college. Students can take admission either with the help of regional centers or they can self admit themselves via online mode.
Step by step method
- Students need to visit the official site of the Karnataka State Open University(KSOU)
- Then,they can fill the application form by selecting the nearest regional center
- After this, candidates are required to upload/attachall the self-attested documents asked by the university
- Candidates are required to visit the nearest regional center with their original documents and also one set of photocopy of documents for verification
- After the completion of the verification purpose, students are required to pay their academic fees online
