Introduction: Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic Vishwavidyalaya Distance Education Courses is one the most appreciated universities in the state of Madhya Pradesh. His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji was the founder and the first Chancellor of MMYVV. At present Brahmachari (Dr.) Girish Chandra Varma is the Chancellor and as per divine desire and guidance provided by Maharishi Ji, the institution is especially praised for the generosity and offering education as a mark of service to humanity and completely abandoning the idea of making education institution as a facade to make money. The Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic Vishwavidyalaya was manifested in real world on 29th November 1995 by the Act. No. 37 of 1995 of Madhya Pradesh Government. The institution adobe lies in the religious city of Brahmasthan of India (Karaundi), District, Katni, Madhya Pradesh. One of the outstanding features of the university is that it offers superior education at no extra cost. Through its regular program the institution offers Post Gradaute Degree/Diploma, Graduate and Diploma/ Certificate Programs in Vedic Science, Education, Computer Science, Social Science and Commerce.
Having received divine guidance the university pushed its horizons to greater dimensions and took a step to venture in the correspondence mode of education, now popularly called as distance education program. Distance Education is another viable way of offering education to that section of society who is deprived of higher education due to many socio economic reasons or personal circumstances. In consultation with education experts the university has also created e-books for students to study online in their own pace.
