Selection Process

Candidates who register online with NHPC and submit all required details as per the eligibility criteria will be provisionally permitted to appear for the Computer-Based Test (CBT) or Written Test, as applicable.
The minimum qualifying marks for consideration in the selection process are:
General/OBC/Gen-EWS: 40% of total marks
SC/ST/PwBD: 35% of total marks
Selection will be based on the merit of the online test. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for Document Verification (DV) at NHPC’s Corporate Office in Faridabad, where their original certificates and mark sheets will be checked. Additionally, biometric authentication will be carried out during this stage.
Upon successful completion of DV, candidates will receive a provisional Offer of Appointment.
