Candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria to take admission to any one of the preferred distance law courses offered by the NLSIU, Bangalore.
As per the information available on the NLSIU’s official website, the eligibility criteria for all the distance law programmes covered under PACE (Professional And Continuing Education), except for the online Certificate in Foundations for a Legal Education course, are the same. Below are the details of the eligibility criteria.
- A graduate degree (in law or another discipline) from an accredited university is the minimum requirement for applying to this programme.
- Students who hold a degree certificate from an institution recognised by the UGC, the Association of Indian Universities, the CA, CS, ICWAI, or an open university or a distance learning programme are eligible to apply.
- There is no age, nationality, gender, or employment status limitations.

- After enrollment candidates will be provided with an ID Number which shall be quoted in all your future correspondences with the University.

- Contact Classes will be held at NLSIU, Bengaluru only and Attendance to contact Class is optional.
- With respect to Foreign Degrees, the candidate is required to produce an equivalence certificate issued by the association of Indian Universities.
- Examinations (Annual/supplementary) will be conducted at Bengaluru, Delhi, Kolkata, and Pune.
