Introduction: National Sanskrit University Distance Education Courses, the university is commonly known as Rashtriya Sanskrit University located in Tirupathi, Andhra Pradesh, and The University was established in 1961, it is a central university established by an act of parliament and also a Deemed University. The main aim of the institution was to improve encourage students to learn the Sanskrit language and develop sound understanding on the language.

The National Sanskrit University Distance Education Center for distance and online education (CDOE) is duly recognized by the university grants commission (UGC).

Application forms are available at the University’s official website and forms can be filled both offline and online.

How to Apply Online:     

  • Go the official website of National Sanskrit University.
  • Click on the application form and fill out the Personal Details and other information.
  • Click Proceed to Pay to pay the registration fee online.
  • Click on the Submit button. Now, the registration process is complete.

Along with the completed application form, the following papers must be sent:

  • A copy of your degree or provisional certificate that has been attested.
  • A copy of the date of birth certificate that has been attested.
  • For DES – X class or similar certificate that includes the date of birth (attested copy)
  • Affixing a stamp-size photo to an Identity Card that has been fully filled out.
  • In the case of SC/ST applicants, an attestation copy of their caste certificate is required.
  • Receipt card that has been filled out and stamped.
  • Certificate from a Guru/Teacher who is instructing the candidate in the topic chosen in Sammanita Sastri/Acharya Certificate about ability to read and write Sanskrit
