Reserve Bank of India Recruitment 2026 for Medical Consultant in Ranchi, Engagement of Medical Consultant (MC) – Contract Basis (Ranchi). The engagement will be on a purely contractual basis, with fixed hourly remuneration, for the dispensary of the Reserve Bank of India (the Bank) located in Ranchi.

Eligibility and Terms & Conditions for Reserve Bank of India Recruitment 2026 for Medical Consultant in Ranchi
Applicants must possess at least an MBBS degree from a university recognized by the Medical Council of India, practicing in the Allopathic system of medicine.
Candidates with a postgraduate degree in General Medicine are also eligible to apply.
A minimum of two years of post-qualification experience as a Medical Practitioner in a hospital or clinic (Allopathic system) is required.
The working hours of the Medical Consultant (MC) may be increased depending on the Bank’s requirements.
Applicants should have their dispensary or residence within a 3–5 km radius of the Bank’s dispensary.
The engagement will be on a contract basis for a period of three years, with no provision for renewal after completion of the contract term.
Application Process and Vacancy Details
Eligible candidates are required to apply strictly in the prescribed format provided in Annex-I. The completed application, placed in a sealed envelope, must reach the Regional Director, Human Resource Management Department, Reserve Bank of India, Ranchi – 834001 on or before 5:00 PM on March 27, 2026. The envelope should be clearly superscribed as “Application for the post of Medical Consultant on contract basis with fixed hourly remuneration.”
Candidates applying under the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category must ensure they meet the eligibility criteria and submit all necessary supporting certificates in the prescribed format along with their application. The certificate must be issued by a competent authority, clearly stating the candidate’s caste, the relevant Act/Order under which it is recognized as an ST category, and their place of residence. It is important that the caste/community name and its spelling exactly match those listed in the official records notified by the Central Government; any discrepancy may lead to rejection of the application.
