Introduction: Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam Distance Education Courses is (University for Women) which was established in the year 1983 by Sir N.T. Rama Rao, the then Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, the main aim to create a new university was in lines of the women’s empowerment in the state and to develop women as leaders in the all aspect of the life. The university came into force under the Sri Padmavati Mahila Vishvaviyalayam Act of 1983. Back in the day the varsity started with mere 10 faculties and 300 students and twenty staff members. To our surprise the number of students in the university has grown up today for near about 4000 students and an academic staff of 105 and 131 academic consultants. There are separate buildings for Humanities and Sciences, University Administration, Central Library, University Auditorium, Sericulture Complex, and School of Pharmaceutical Sciences and also an independent building for Computer Science, Business Management and Engineering College.

Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam Distance Education Courses was started in the year 2000 and is in line to cater to the academic needs of the students who cannot pursue formal higher education due to personal reasons. The university is very flexible with entry qualification, pace of learning at will and the use of educational technology which are usually given with off campus facilities. DEC is committed to the serve the women candidate and are drop out from the regular college program.
The nomenclature of DEC has been changed as Directorate of Distance Education (DDE) during 2014. The DDE provides higher education to women through distance mode making them self-reliant. The courses serve the purpose of extending academic excellence, orientation and motivation to the students for creative interaction with the society
The university is state level university and is approved by the UGC, it also accreditation from NAAC grade A and also recognized by distance education bureau. The institution offers about 55 courses under graduation and posts graduation courses such BA, B. Tech and MBA etc. The admission is done through merit and test basis. - Visit https://www.spmvv.ac.in, the organization’s website.
- The SPMVV registration option should be noted.
- After selecting the option, a registration screen where the user’s mobile number and email address must be entered will now appear.
- To avoid providing any inaccurate or misleading information when registering, OTP authentication must be performed.
- Candidates must also click the submit button for the application window to open.

- Upload the student’s pictures and paperwork now in the required format.
