Introduction: Universities in Lebanon are very popular among residents and expats alike, so much so they attract foreign nationals to study in the country. Officially known as the Lebanese Republic it is country in Western Asia and is located at the Eastern shore of Mediterranean Sea. Lebanon is the one of the smallest nations in the world.

The Lebanese economy is not that strong and is dependent on the Agriculture, Fishing and Manufacturing of construction material like cement.

Having said that the Lebanon’s education system has seen quite a development in past few years and it is safe to say that the literacy rate are highest in the middle east. The country has few international quality colleges which is at par with global standards.

Universities in Lebanon Admission Process

The rules for admission are simple, selected a higher education program and then select a university best suited to your requirement and then you initiate the process of admission.

  1. First you need to visit the official website of the selected university and start the process of registration.
  2. If the website allows you to upload the form online than you can simply fill and upload the form and if not than you can send the completed documents to university office.
  3. Selection is done if the candidate has fulfilled the eligibility criteria and other formalities only then they will be given a letter of acceptance.
  4. You can submit the program fees after that.

 

 

Universities in Lebanon Documents Required

 

Ongoing secondary school students
  • Official transcript from years 9­, 10, 11, and 12 (if applicable). If the transcript is issued in a language other than English, it must be accompanied by a separate certified word-for-word English translation.
Students who have completed secondary school:
  • Official transcript from years 9, 10, and 11. If the transcript is issued in a language other than English, it must be accompanied by a separate certified word-for-word English translation.
  • Official copy of the Baccalauréat Part II or Baccalauréat Libanaise (Lebanese Baccalaureate), accompanied by a certified word-for-word English translation.
Additional Requirements:
  • SAT or ACT Score
  • English Language Proficiency Exam Score (IELTS, MELAB, or TOEFL)

All required foreign credential transcripts and exam results can be submitted either to the in official original or certified true (attested) copies.
