Eligibility Criteria for University of Twente Scholarship (UTS) 2026 Apply Now
For One-Year Scholarship:
Applicants must meet the following conditions:
- Must be a citizen of India.
- Should rank among the top 5–10% of their academic class.
- Must hold a conditional admission offer for a University of Twente master’s programme.
- Should have received a valid student number.
- Must not be currently enrolled in a UTS undergraduate programme.
- Should meet the English language requirement: Academic IELTS score of 6.5 (or TOEFL iBT score of 90), with a minimum speaking subscore of 6.0 (TOEFL iBT 20).
For Two-Year Scholarship:
To continue or qualify for a two-year award, applicants must:
- Achieve a minimum average score of 7/10 by the end of the third quartile of the first year.
- Earn at least 50% of the required European credits within the same period.
- Fulfil all the criteria specified for the one-year scholarship.
Important Notes:
- The scholarship does not apply to pre-master’s programmes at the University of Twente.
- Applicants can only apply after obtaining their student number.
Scholarship Benefits
Selected candidates will receive:
- Financial support ranging from €3,000 to €22,000 for study-related expenses.
- A chance to participate in one of the exclusive honours programmes: Research Honours, Design Honours, or Change Leaders.
(Note: Tuition fees are not covered under this scholarship.)
