Eligibility Criteria for CFEES DRDO Internship 2026
To be eligible for the CFEES DRDO Internship 2026, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be 28 years of age or younger at the time of application.
- Be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate program in science or engineering at a recognized institution.
- Have a strong academic record with a minimum of 80% marks or 8.0 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) from an AICTE/UGC-approved institution.

Selection Process
Candidates will be selected strictly on the basis of academic merit and the relevance of their educational background to the internship domain and research activities conducted at CFEES.
Terms and Conditions
- Boarding and lodging expenses will not be provided by CFEES.
- Interns may purchase meals, tea, and snacks at subsidized rates from the institute canteen.
- To remain eligible for the stipend, interns must maintain satisfactory performance and attend the laboratory for at least 15 working days per month.
- The stipend will be released in two installments directly to the intern’s bank account.
- The first stipend installment will be processed only after completion of the initial three months of training.
- Interns who leave the program before completing three months will not receive any stipend.
- A completion certificate will be issued only to candidates who successfully complete the full internship duration.
- Participation in the internship does not guarantee future employment with DRDO or CFEES.
