SBI Platinum Jubilee Asha Scholarship 2026 Avail Now, The SBI Platinum Jubilee Asha Scholarship 2026-27 has been introduced by the SBI Foundation, the CSR arm of the State Bank of India, to provide financial support to academically talented students who face financial difficulties in pursuing their education.
The scholarship programme caters to learners across multiple levels of education, covering Classes 9 to 12, undergraduate and postgraduate courses, as well as professional programmes. Eligible students pursuing higher studies at reputed institutions such as IITs, IIMs, medical colleges and selected universities abroad can also benefit from the scheme.
Depending on the applicable scholarship category, successful applicants may receive financial assistance of INR 15,000 to INR 15,00,000 per academic year. Applications are submitted through an online process, and no application fee is required. Once approved, the scholarship funds are provided directly to beneficiaries through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), helping students meet their educational expenses with greater ease.

SBI Platinum Jubilee Asha Scholarship 2026 Eligibility Criteria
The SBI Platinum Jubilee Asha Scholarship 2026-27 is available under multiple scholarship categories. Candidates must meet the academic, income and institution-specific requirements applicable to their chosen track. The key eligibility conditions are outlined below.
- School Students – Classes 9 to 12
- Students must have secured at least 7.5 CGPA or 75% marks in the previous academic year.
- The minimum requirement is 65% for SC/ST students and 60% for PwBD students.
- The applicant’s annual family income should be ₹3 lakh or below.
- Scholarship Amount: ₹15,000
- Undergraduate Students – Top 300 NIRF Institutions
- Applicants must have obtained a minimum of 7.5 CGPA or 75% marks in the previous academic year.
- The requirement is 65% for SC/ST candidates and 60% for PwBD candidates.
- Gross annual family income must not exceed ₹6 lakh.
- Students must be enrolled in an institution ranked among the Top 300 in the NIRF Overall category or accredited with NAAC ‘A’ grade or higher.
- Scholarship Amount: ₹75,000
- Postgraduate Students – Master’s Programmes
- A minimum of 7.5 CGPA or 75% marks is required in the previous academic year.
- The minimum marks requirement is 65% for SC/ST students and 60% for PwBD students.
- Gross annual family income must be ₹6 lakh or less.
- Candidates should be pursuing their programme at a Top 300 NIRF (Overall) institution or a NAAC ‘A’ or above accredited institution.
- Scholarship Amount: ₹1,50,000
- Medical Students – MBBS
- Applicants must have secured at least 7.5 CGPA or 75% marks in the previous academic year, with concessions of 65% for SC/ST and 60% for PwBD candidates.
- Gross annual family income should not exceed ₹6 lakh.
- The applicant must currently be pursuing MBBS at an AIIMS or a medical institution ranked among the Top 50 in the NIRF Medical category.
- A valid NEET scorecard from the current or previous academic year is required.
- Scholarship Amount: ₹2,00,000
- IIT Students – JEE Advanced
- Candidates must be enrolled at one of the 23 IITs in India.
- They must have achieved at least 7.5 CGPA or 75% marks in the previous academic year, with the applicable relaxation for SC/ST and PwBD candidates.
- Annual family income should be ₹6 lakh or below.
- Applicants must possess a valid JEE Advanced scorecard from the current or previous academic year.
- Scholarship Amount: ₹2,00,000
- IIM Students – MBA
- Applicants must currently be studying at one of the 22 IIMs in India.
- A minimum of 7.5 CGPA or 75% marks is required in the previous academic year, with the specified relaxation for SC/ST and PwBD candidates.
- Annual family income must not exceed ₹6 lakh.
- Candidates must have a valid CAT scorecard from the current or previous academic year.
- Scholarship Amount: ₹5,00,000
- Overseas Studies – Postgraduate and Higher Programmes
- This category is open to Indian nationals.
- Candidates must have secured at least 7.5 CGPA or 75% marks in the previous academic year, with the applicable concessions for SC/ST and PwBD candidates.
- Applicants must either be pursuing or hold a valid offer for a postgraduate or higher-level programme at a QS Top 200 university.
- Annual family income should not exceed ₹6 lakh.
- Candidates must have a valid scorecard for one of the accepted examinations, such as GRE, GMAT, MCAT, LNAT or LSAT, from the current or previous academic year.
