Applicants must possess a B.Tech., B.E., or B.Sc. (Engineering) degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university or institution. Candidates should be Indian citizens and must not exceed 63 years of age as on 01 June 2026.
The position requires extensive professional expertise, with candidates expected to have at least 20 years of experience in the planning, design, engineering, execution, or project management of 220 kV and 400 kV transmission lines and substations. In addition, applicants should have a minimum of five years of hands-on experience in 765 kV transmission line or substation projects.
Candidates must demonstrate proven leadership capabilities, including experience in supervising and managing teams of engineers. Preference will be given to professionals who have played a significant role in the design and implementation of at least two 765 kV transmission line or substation projects. A strong background in handling high-voltage transmission infrastructure projects from the planning stage through execution and commissioning is essential.
