Selection Process
- Selection for the MTPF AVNL Trade Apprentice positions will be based primarily on merit, with separate merit lists prepared for Non-ITI and Ex-ITI candidates.
- For Non-ITI candidates, the merit list will be prepared using the overall percentage obtained in Madhyamik/Matriculation (Class 10 or equivalent) across all subjects. A common merit list will be prepared, after which trade allocation will be made according to merit-cum-choice.
- For Ex-ITI candidates, merit will be calculated separately for each trade using the simple average of the percentages obtained in Matriculation and ITI. Candidates must have secured at least 50% aggregate marks in both qualifications.
- In case two or more candidates have the same percentage, preference will first be given to the older candidate. If their dates of birth are also identical, the candidate who passed Matriculation earlier will be preferred. If the passing year is also the same, selection will be determined according to the alphabetical order of the candidates’ names.
- Candidates selected provisionally will be called for document verification. Those who successfully complete verification will then be required to undergo a medical examinationconducted by an Assistant Civil Surgeon at a Government Hospital or a CGHS-recognised hospital. Final engagement will be subject to meeting the prescribed medical fitness standards.
- Reservation benefits will be provided in accordance with the Apprentices Act, 1961, Apprenticeship Rules, 1992, Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016, and other applicable government rules.
