MECON Limited has announced vacancies for different executive-level positions under the MECON Executive Recruitment 2026. The posts range from Assistant Manager to Assistant General Manager, with eligibility based on educational qualification, relevant work experience and age.

Vacancies: 80 posts (combined for E-1, E-2 and E-3 levels)
Educational Qualification: Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Ceramic, Chemical, Mining or Metallurgy Engineering. Candidates with a PG Degree/2-year PG Diploma, MBA, MSW or MA in HRM, Personnel Management, Industrial Relations, Labour Management, Organisational Development, HRD or Labour Welfare are also eligible. A Degree in Law (BL/LLB or equivalent/5-year integrated law course) is also accepted.
Marks: Minimum 60% marks for UR/EWS/OBC (NCL) candidates and 50% for SC/ST/PwD candidates.
Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience.
Age Limit: Up to 50 years. Age relaxation will be applicable as per Government of India rules, with the maximum age after relaxation being 52 years.

Deputy Manager (E-2)

Senior Manager (E-4)

Selection Process
MECON will select candidates based on the procedure mentioned in the official recruitment notification. At present, the selection process primarily involves a Personal Interview, followed by document verification and a medical examination for selected candidates.
The main stages are explained below:
Shortlisting: Applications will first be scrutinised based on the information, declarations and supporting documents submitted by candidates during the online application process.
Personal Interview: Provisionally shortlisted candidates will be called for a Personal Interview. MECON Management reserves the right to change the selection process if required.
Interview Details: The list of shortlisted candidates, along with the interview date, time and venue, will be published on the official MECON website. Candidates will also receive the information through their registered email address.
Document Verification: Candidates will have their documents and eligibility claims checked during the interview process. If any claim is not supported by valid documents, the candidate may not be permitted to appear for the interview.
Medical Examination: Candidates selected for appointment will have to undergo a medical examination conducted by the Medical Board of MECON’s Company Hospital, Ispat Hospital, Shyamali, Ranchi. The decision of the Medical Board will be considered final.
Final Selection: The final list of selected candidates will be published on the MECON website. Selected candidates will also be informed about the reporting date, required documents and medical examination through their registered email IDs.
