Introduction: UP scholarship announcement has just been made a while ago and it is floating the internet. The scholarship program is resolute to help students who require funds to support their education and comes from a humble background. There are multiple scholarship schemes which will help students at various levels such as Pre-Matric and Post Matric coming from Minority/SC/ST/OBC/and General Category students.

The announcement covers the year 2019-2020 (financial support year), therefore new students please read the article carefully on how to apply for the  scheme. If you are an old applicant then you must go to the “Status” section of the official website to check the progress of your application.

Eligibility Criteria for UP Scholarship

Eligibility Criteria: The number one eligibility criteria for all students is that the student must be a domicile holder of state of Uttar Pradesh that means that he/she should be a resident of state of Uttar Pradesh with correct documents. It is also compulsory to hold and to use the Adhaar card to fill the online application form.

  1. This support is applicable for students of SC/ST/General category who are studying in class 11th and 12th.

 

  1. The annual income of the family upper limit INR 2 Lakh (for General candidates) and INR 2.5 Lakh (for SC/ST candidates) inclusive.

Post-Matric (Other than Intermediate) Scholarship

  1. This support is applicable for students of SC/ST/General category who are studying in graduation, post graduation, PhD or higher level.

 

  1. The annual income of the family upper limit INR 2 Lakh (for General candidates) and INR 2.5 Lakh (for SC/ST candidates) inclusive.

Post-Matric Other State Scholarship

  1. This support is applicable for students of SC/ST/General category who are studying in class 11th or above.

Pre-Matric Scholarship for Minorities, Uttar Pradesh

  1. This scholarship is applicable for minority community students who are studying in class 9thor 10th.

  1. This support is exclusively for OBC students in class 9thand 10th.

How to apply for UP Scholarship

To apply for your respective scholarship scheme, student shall have to fill the online application form which is only available through the dedicated website only and in the above specified timeline only.

The steps you should follow is described in detail below. All students will carefully follow the steps and fill the details as per your document.

 

Application and Registration Process for UP Scholarship

Registration process for new student

  1. Go to the official website of the  scholarship and let it open the web browser.
  2. Find the student section and click on the Registration.
  3. Now first select the scholarship you want to avail for yourself.
  4. After selecting fill in the entire mandatory details very carefully.
  5. Click on to submit button and take the print out for future use.

Now you have successfully registered on the website you ready for the next process.           

 

How to fill the form for  Scholarship

Login and filling the details.

  1. Again go the student section and this time click on Login which is just under the registration
  2. Enter credentials like registration number, password and date of birth.
  3. Post login you will be directed to a web-page where you need to select the check box.
  4. You have to read all the details carefully and before you proceed you have to check the box in the below end of the web page.

Next step will take you to fill the form in the dashboard as soon as you hit the proceed button.

  1. Find the “application form” and click on it.
  2. Carefully fill all the details in the application form.
  3. Check all the details once more and click on to submit.
  4. Post above motioned step you need to up load all your documents on to the portal along with a passport size photograph.

 

As soon as the students will complete all the necessary steps now you can finally submit the application form for the last time.

Note: All students are requested to take the print out of the application form and submit it to the school/college/institute where they are seeking admission in and provide them with the details of fee waiver application form for official use.
