Universities in Kuwait Admission Process

The rules for admission are simple, selected a higher education program and then select a university best suited to your requirement and then you initiate the process of admission.

  1. First you need to visit the official website of the selected university and start the process of registration.
  2. If the website allows you to upload the form online than you can simply fill and upload the form and if not than you can send the completed documents to university office.
  3. Selection is done if the candidate has fulfilled the eligibility criteria and other formalities only then they will be given a letter of acceptance.
  4. You can submit the program fees after that.

General Admission Requirement

  • Applicants must hold a general secondary certificate or its equivalent in order to gain admittance into university first level studies.
  • For Master’s degrees, applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree with a GPA of at least 2.67 on a scale of 4.
  • For PhD studies, master’s degree is related field is required.

 

 

Documents Required

  • Educational certificates: Attested copy of secondary school certificate or its equivalent
  • A description of the coursesstudied in the previous educational institutions
  • Copy of birth certificate
  • A copy of valid Civil ID
  • A copy of passport and a valid residency (for non-Kuwaitis)
  • Three passport-sizephotographs
  • Personal Statement:Demonstrate your interest and enthusiasm for the course chosen.
  • Letter of Recommendation: At least two letter of recommendation
  • Updated CV
  • English language certificate:TOEFL or IELTS scores
