Small Industries Development Bank of India Recruitment 2025 for Associate Legal Counsel, Established on April 2, 1990, through an Act of the Indian Parliament, the Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) serves as the apex financial institution dedicated to promoting, financing, and developing the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector. It also plays a key role in coordinating with other institutions engaged in similar activities. SIDBI is currently inviting applications from eligible and interested candidates for the position of Associate Legal Counsel (ALC) on a contractual basis.

1. Scrutinizing and processing Title Investigation Reports (TIRs). 2. Liaising with Advocates/Branch/Regional Offices for TIRs. 3. Maintaining TIR data and using digital tools related to TIRs. 4. Updating, managing digital tools for TIR processing. 5. Generating legal work reports at Head Office. 6. Legal research and case handling as assigned. 7. Managing court cases, document vetting, and related legal matters. 8. Drafting legal documents, contracts, pleadings, etc. 9. Handling SARFAESI Act matters, notices, auctions, and documentation. 10. Assisting in recovery/legal matters including IBC and attending COC. 11. Supporting operational teams in legal risk assessment. 12. Performing any other legal tasks assigned by the Bank. |
Eligibility Criteria

| b | Educational Qualification | – Degree in Law (3-year or 5-year course) from a recognized Indian university with minimum 50% marks. |
| – A Postgraduate degree in Law from a recognized Indian university will be preferred. | ||
| c | Post-Qualification Experience (As on July 31, 2025) | – Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, which can be: |
| (i) In a Commercial Bank / Financial Institution (FI) / NBFC / other reputed corporate, organization, or government body; OR | ||
| (ii) As a practicing advocate with at least 5 years of legal experience, including providing legal opinions in areas listed under Scope of Work (Sl. No. F); OR | ||
| (iii) A combination of (i) and (ii). | ||
| Preference will be given to candidates with experience in: Drafting/vetting legal documents, deeds, contracts, plaints, petitions, etc.Conveyancing and title investigation/Liaising with advocates/solicitors for TIRs and recovery matters /General legal matters relevant to SIDBI | ||
| Candidate should also have proficiency in using computers and digital tools for efficient performance. | ||

Remuneration

Remuneration payable will be around `20 lakh per annum plus other facilities viz. Group Insurance etc.
