EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
- Senior Engineer:
Candidates must possess a full-time B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech degree in Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering, secured with First Class, from an AICTE-recognized institute/college or a university of repute.
Important Note:
Applicants whose degree certificates list a discipline or specialization different from what is specified in this advertisement will not be considered for the selection process.
Candidates must upload:
- Their B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech degree certificate (as applicable).
- For universities following a CGPA/credit-based evaluation system, a duly certified conversion formula for translating CGPA/credits into a percentage, as per university norms, must be submitted.
2.0 RELEVANT POST-QUALIFICATION INDUSTRY / DEFENCE LABORATORY EXPERIENCE (as on 01.02.2026)
Candidates will be evaluated based on the specific experience relevant to the job responsibilities outlined for the position.
Please note:
Experience gained in the form of Trainee, Fixed-tenure, or Contractual engagement in BEL or any other PSU will NOT be treated as relevant post-qualification experience for this recruitment.
UPPER AGE LIMIT & RELAXATION for Bharat Electronics Limited Recruitment 2026 for Senior Engineer on 4 Vacancies
As of 01.02.2026, the maximum age for applying to the post of Senior Engineer (E-III) is 32 years.
Age relaxations will apply as follows:
- SC candidates: Eligible for 5 years relaxation in the upper age limit.
- Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): Candidates with 40% or more disability are entitled to an additional 10 years relaxation, over and above the relaxation applicable to their respective categories.
- Ex-Servicemen: Age relaxation will be granted in accordance with Government of India guidelines.

- Applicants must pay a non-refundable application fee of ₹600/- plus 18% GST through SBI Collect, either via online payment or at any SBI branch.
Candidates belonging to SC, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen categories are exempted from paying the application fee.
SELECTION PROCEDURE for Bharat Electronics Limited Recruitment 2026 for Senior Engineer on 4 Vacancies
- Applicants must ensure that all information entered in the application form is accurate and that all required documents are uploaded as specified. Any mismatch between the provided details and the supporting documents will result in rejection of the application without prior notice.
- Candidates who fulfill the eligibility conditions outlined in the advertisement will be shortlisted after scrutiny of their applications and invited to appear for a Written Test, followed by an Interview.
- Shortlisting for the interview will be done strictly based on performance in the Written Test, arranged in order of merit, in a 1:7 ratio for each category. The Interview carries 15 marks. Minimum qualifying marks for both the Written Test and Interview are 35% for General candidates and 30% for SC/PwBD candidates.
- The list of candidates shortlisted for the Written Test will be published on the official BEL website. Candidates must follow all instructions mentioned in the Admit Card.
- Both the Written Test and Interview will be conducted at BEL, Bengaluru.
