Introduction:Indian Coast Guard Physical Test is a very simple process for the recruitment in the post of “Navik” (General Duty) which is an Armed Force of the Union.
Every year thousand of applicants apply for various positions in the Indian Coast Guard services as it is an adventurous job.
The main objective of the said service is to guard the coast lines of the Indian sea shores and strictly implement Indian maritime laws.
The selection procedure is done by the same competent authority which does the recruitment for the Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Air Force. Perhaps Service Selection Board (SSB) is also involved here in the selection procedure.

We researched the official website of the Join Indian Coast Guard and learned that there are not very stringent physical test which one needs to be worried about.
Those who qualify written examination will undergo Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and the testing procedure will take about 2 days.
Physically Challenged candidates are not eligible to apply for this examination. (e) Physical Fitness Test (PFT). PFT will be conducted for all those who qualify the written tests.
All candidates are advised to be in possession of sport rig (Shoe, T-shirt, Trouser etc).
The PFT consists of:-
6 Km run to be completed in 7 minutes
(ii) 20 Squat ups (Uthak Baithak)
(iii) 10 Push up. Candidates undergoing PFT will do so at their own risk.
