Educational Qualification & Experience
Candidates should possess at least 60% marks in BE/B.Tech in Metallurgy or Material Science Engineering along with a minimum of 20 years of post-qualification experience in production operations within a metallurgical process plant.
OR
Applicants with a minimum of 60% marks in ME/M.Tech in Metallurgy or Material Science Engineering must have at least 18 years of relevant post-qualification experience in metallurgical production activities.
Role & Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for leading and supervising end-to-end production operations in a metallurgical manufacturing facility. The role involves production planning, budgeting, execution, process optimization, productivity enhancement, and timely delivery. The incumbent will also coordinate with multiple departments, manage teams, develop production strategies, and ensure adherence to quality standards and industry regulations.
- Group General Manager (Projects)
Educational Qualification & Experience
Candidates must hold a BE/B.Tech degree with at least 60% marks, preferably in Metallurgy, Mechanical, Production, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, along with a minimum of 20 years of experience in project establishment and execution.
OR
Applicants with ME/M.Tech in the above disciplines and minimum 60% marks should possess at least 18 years of post-qualification experience in project implementation.
Role & Responsibilities
The position involves overseeing new project execution, modernization, and upgradation programmes at MIDHANI’s metallurgical facilities. The candidate should possess expertise in erection and commissioning of heavy machinery and equipment such as rolling mills, melting furnaces, forge presses, substations, transformers, instrumentation systems, and civil infrastructure in large metallurgical or steel industries. Experience in project management, production engineering, and project cost estimation will be an added advantage.
- General Manager (Quality)
Educational Qualification & Experience
Candidates should have secured a minimum of 60% marks in BE/B.Tech in Metallurgy or Material Science Engineering with at least 17 years of post-qualification experience in quality control systems within a metallurgical process plant or government organization.
OR
Applicants with ME/M.Tech in Metallurgy or Material Science Engineering and minimum 60% marks should possess 15 years of relevant experience in quality assurance and control systems.
Role & Responsibilities
The role requires managing quality control systems in metallurgical operations, including expertise in non-destructive testing methods such as PT, FPT, RT, UT, and PAUT. The candidate should also be experienced in mechanical testing, microstructural analysis of steels, superalloys, and titanium alloys.
The incumbent will oversee Aerospace Quality Management Systems, NDT techniques, NADCAP certifications, and AS91XX series standards. Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS 9100, and other international quality certifications is desirable. The selected candidate will also formulate corporate-level quality management policies and regularly brief senior management on critical quality matters.
- General Manager (Research & Development)
Educational Qualification
Applicants should possess ME/M.Tech in Metallurgy or Material Science Engineering with at least 60% marks. Candidates holding a PhD in Metallurgy or Material Science Engineering will receive preference.
Experience
A minimum of 15 years of post-qualification experience in research and development activities in a metallurgical process industry or government organization is required.
Role & Responsibilities
The selected professional will lead research and development activities related to special steels, high-strength alloys, titanium alloys, superalloys, and refractory alloys. Responsibilities include work related to melting processes, thermo-mechanical processing, mechanical testing, service performance analysis, non-destructive evaluation, and failure analysis.
- General Manager (Human Resources)
Educational Qualification & Experience
Candidates should possess a degree preferably in Engineering or Physical Sciences along with a two-year postgraduate qualification in Business Administration with specialization in HR/Personnel Management, or MA in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations, or MSW.
Applicants must have a minimum of 20 years of post-qualification experience in Personnel or Human Resource management. A degree in Law will be considered advantageous. Proficiency in Telugu and/or Hindi is mandatory.
Selection Process
Candidates shortlisted after the initial screening of applications will be invited for an interview.

Applicants appearing for the selection process must carry original certificates along with one set of self-attested photocopies for qualification, age, experience, category proof (if applicable), and two recent passport-size colour photographs. Candidates are also required to produce ESI & PF documents or salary account bank statements as proof of work experience during certificate verification.
