Reliance Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships 2025-26, In December 2022, marking the 90th birth anniversary of Reliance’s Founder-Chairman Shri Dhirubhai Ambani, Mrs. Nita Ambani, Founder and Chairperson of Reliance Foundation, announced a landmark initiative—50,000 scholarships to be awarded over the next decade. The announcement reflected her belief that the nation’s true progress lies in empowering its youth. Over time, Reliance Foundation’s scholarship programmes have already transformed the futures of more than 28,000 young people across India.

Since the academic year 2022–23, Reliance Foundation has been extending support to 5,100 students each year. This includes 5,000 bright undergraduate students from economically weaker backgrounds, who are free to pursue any field of study through the Reliance Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships, and 100 of India’s most outstanding postgraduate students in future-focused disciplines such as Engineering, Technology, Energy, and Life Sciences through the Reliance Foundation Postgraduate Scholarships.

Together, these scholarship initiatives aim not just to provide financial assistance but to nurture talent, empower ambition, and create thriving alumni networks. The Reliance Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships are designed to empower young students to become accomplished professionals, achieve their aspirations, and harness their potential to uplift not only themselves but also their communities—ultimately contributing to India’s socio-economic progress.

Eligible applicants include students from households with an annual income of less than INR 15 lakhs, currently enrolled in the first year of their undergraduate studies in any stream or subject. The programme places special emphasis on encouraging applications from female students and those with disabilities, ensuring inclusivity and equal opportunity.

Selected scholars can receive financial support of up to INR 2 lakhs over the course of their degree. Beyond financial aid, the programme offers access to a dynamic alumni network and a strong support ecosystem, enabling long-term personal and professional growth. Eligibility

An applicant must:

Be a resident Indian citizen

First year PG Students who secured a score of 550 – 1,000 in the GATE Examination.

OR

Students who have scored 7.5 or above in their Undergraduate CGPA (or % normalised to CGPA)

Eligible degree programmes – Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics & Computing, Electrical/or Electronics Engg., Chemical Engg., Mechanical Engg., Renewable & New Energy, Material, Science & Engg. and Life Sciences.

Up to INR 6,00,000 over the duration of the degree programme

NOTE: Scholars will also benefit from additional engagement and development activities (including the chance to attend talks and workshops with leading global experts, opportunities to apply for mentoring/internships, volunteering opportunities, a strong alumni network and more). They will become part of a vibrant community of scholars who will be at the forefront of creating and building a new India.

The applicants are required to attach the following documents at the time of application:

Applicant’s photograph (passport size)

Address proof (permanent address)

Current resume

Marksheets of Class 10 and 12 board examinations

Marksheet of GATE Entrance Examination (if applicable)

Official transcript/marksheet of undergraduate degree

Bonafide Student Certificate from the current college/institution of enrollment

Two essays: Personal Statement and Statement of Purpose

Two reference letters: One academic and one character

Experience certificate/letter(s) from work experience/internships (if applicable)

Official Disability Certificate issued by the relevant Government authority (if applicable)

Family income proof issued by Gram Panchayat/Ward Counsellor/Sarpanch/Income Proof issued by SDM/DM/CO/Tehsildar

You will also need to submit your PAN and Bank details after you submit your application.

You will now be redirected to the ‘Reliance Foundation Scholarships 2025-26’ official page. Please note that your application form has to be submitted on the Reliance Foundation official page.

Fill out the online Eligibility Questionnaire on the Reliance Foundation website.

If you fulfil the eligibility criteria, you will be sent an email invitation with log-in information to apply through Reliance Foundation’s application portal.

Log in to the application portal using the username and password received in the email.

Complete the scholarship application form and upload the required documents.

Submit the application.

Important Note:

All applicants are required to complete an online aptitude test as part of their application.

Once the application is submitted, the applicants will receive a confirmation email that will include the date/time of the online exam.

The aptitude test link will be available through the Reliance Foundation Scholarships application portal one day before the date of the aptitude test.

Applications will be considered complete only when you have completed the aptitude test. Scores will be sent directly to Reliance Foundation once the test is submitted. Applicants will not be notified about their scores.

The Reliance Foundation does not charge any application fees to apply for this scholarship program.
