The announcement reflected her belief that the nation’s true progress lies in empowering its youth. Over time, Reliance Foundation’s scholarship programmes have already transformed the futures of more than 28,000 young people across India.

Since the academic year 2022–23, Reliance Foundation has been extending support to 5,100 students each year. This includes 5,000 bright undergraduate students from economically weaker backgrounds, who are free to pursue any field of study through the Reliance Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships, and 100 of India’s most outstanding postgraduate students in future-focused disciplines such as Engineering, Technology, Energy, and Life Sciences through the Reliance Foundation Postgraduate Scholarships.

The Reliance Foundation Postgraduate Scholarships are designed to nurture and propel India’s next generation of leaders. Each year, the programme identifies and supports 100 of the country’s most exceptional postgraduate students pursuing future-focused disciplines in Engineering, Technology, Energy, and Life Sciences. Selection is purely merit-based, following a rigorous and competitive process.

Eligibility

(Reliance Foundation Postgraduate Scholarships 2025-26)

An applicant must:

Be a resident Indian citizen

Passed Standard 12th with minimum 60%

Currently enrolled in the 1st year (academic year 2025-26) in a regular full-time degree course in any stream

Students having household income < Rs. 15 Lakhs (preference given to < Rs. 2.5 Lakhs)

Aptitude Test is mandatory

The following students are not eligible:

Students who are in the 2nd year or higher (have started their courses from academic year 2024-25 or before)

Students pursuing their degree through online, hybrid, remote, distance or any other non-regular modes

Students who have passed their diploma after std. 10th

Students pursuing 2-year & 6 years undergraduate degree courses

Students who do not answer the mandatory aptitude test or are found cheating during the test

Benefits

Up to INR 2,00,000 over the duration of the degree programme.

NOTE: Reliance Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships will go beyond financial support by providing students with network opportunities through a strong alumni network.

The applicants are required to attach the following documents at the time of application:

Applicant’s photograph (passport size)

Address proof (permanent address)

Marksheets of Class 10 and 12 board examinations

Bonafide Student Certificate from the current college/institution of enrollment

Official Disability Certificate issued by the relevant Government authority (if applicable)

Family income proof issued by Gram Panchayat/Ward Counsellor/Sarpanch/Income Proof issued by SDM/DM/CO/Tehsildar

You will also need to submit your PAN and Bank details after you submit your application

You will now be redirected to the ‘Reliance Foundation Scholarships 2025-26’ official page. Please note that your application form has to be submitted on the Reliance Foundation official page.

Fill out the online Eligibility Questionnaire on the Reliance Foundation website.

If you fulfil the eligibility criteria, you will be sent an email invitation with log-in information to apply through Reliance Foundation’s application portal.

Complete the scholarship application form and upload the required documents.

Submit the application.

Important Note:

All applicants are required to complete an online aptitude test as part of their application.

Once the application is submitted, the applicants will receive a confirmation email that will include the date/time of the online exam.

The aptitude test link will be available through the Reliance Foundation Scholarships application portal one day before the date of the aptitude test.

Applications will be considered complete only when you have completed the aptitude test. Scores will be sent directly to Reliance Foundation once the test is submitted. Applicants will not be notified about their scores.

The Reliance Foundation does not charge any application fees to apply for this scholarship program.
