The project titled “Neuro-Driven Lower Limb Exoskeleton for Restoring Mobility” (Project ID: CMRG2400863) is funded by the Directorate of Technical Education (DOTE) / CMRG / Government of Tamil Nadu. The research will be carried out under the supervision of Dr. P. Ganesh, Associate Professor, Department of Production Technology, Madras Institute of Technology, Anna University, Chennai – 600 044.

- Candidates with skills in CAD Modelling/Simulation/CAM, control systems, embedded hardware, sensors (EEG/EMG/IMU), and programming (MATLAB/Python/ROS).
- Experience in assistive/rehabilitation technology, neuro-signal processing, and AI/ML/Deep Learning integration, combined with problem-solving ability, interdisciplinary teamwork, and empathy towards patient-centric applications.
- Astrong commitment and motivation to pursue research in the subject area and having good communication skills.
General Information

Short-listed candidates will be called for written test &/ interview. No TA / DA will be given to candidates for attending the interview.
- The date and time of interview will be informed later to the candidates by email only.
- Candidates should appear for interview along with their original certificates and other relevant documents.
- Selected candidate is also permitted to register for Ph.D programme in Anna University, Chennai.
- The position is purely temporary. The initial appointment will be made for 6 months and maybe extended based on the performance of the candidate. The total duration of the project is 30 months.
- Project will be carried out at MADRAS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (MIT) CAMPUS, Anna University, Chennai.
- Any claim regarding qualification & experience should have the necessary certificates. The selection process is strictly as per the University guidelines
