BGM Foundation Pashu-Seva Scholarship Program 2025–26, is a flagship initiative of the BGM Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Bombay Gowrakshak Mandali (BGM). The programme supports students pursuing full-time undergraduate or postgraduate (general or professional) degrees, as well as diploma courses, in fields such as Veterinary Science, Animal Husbandry, Agriculture, Dairy Science, Livestock (Horned Cattle) Management, Para-Veterinary Studies, Fodder Management, and other allied disciplines.
By easing financial constraints, the scholarship enables deserving and meritorious students to continue their education with confidence while nurturing skilled professionals who will strengthen India’s animal welfare, livestock, and dairy science ecosystem.

BGM Foundation Pashu-Seva Scholarship Program 2025–26 (For General / Professional Courses) reflects this mission by supporting education that strengthens India’s livestock, veterinary, and allied sectors, creating long-term impact for both communities and ecosystems.
BGM Foundation Pashu-Seva Scholarship Program 2025–26 (For General / Professional Post-Graduation)
Eligibility
- Applicants must be Indian citizens enrolled in a recognised institution in India.
- Candidates should be pursuing a full-time postgraduate programme (general or professional) in any year in fields such as Veterinary Science, Animal Husbandry, Agriculture, Dairy Science, Livestock (Horned Cattle) Management, Para-Veterinary Studies, Fodder Management, or other allied disciplines.
- Applicants must have secured at least 50% marks (or equivalent CGPA) in the last qualifying examination.
- Note: A 5% relaxation is applicable for candidates belonging to the preference categories.
- The annual parental income from all sources should not exceed INR 8 lakh.
- Children of employees of Buddy4Study or the BGM Foundation are not eligible to apply.
Preference will be given to:
- Girl students, Persons with Disabilities (PwD), single-parent children, and orphans
- First-generation college graduates
- Students from aspirational or rural districts
- Candidates who have studied in government schools
- Students from village or rural backgrounds
Benefits
Selected students will receive a fixed annual scholarship as follows:
- General Postgraduate Courses: INR 36,000 per year
- Professional Postgraduate Courses: INR 75,000 per year
Note:
The scholarship amount can be utilised towards tuition fees, accommodation, food, transportation, examination fees, and other academic-related expenses.
