Essential Educational Qualifications:

Senior Technical Assistant

Essential Educational Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Aquaculture / Zoology / Fisheries / Marine Biology or equivalent

Desirable Qualifications:

1. Minimum 05 years’ experience in aquaculture after obtaining essential qualification

2. Ph.D. in Fisheries Science / Aquaculture / Marine Biology / Biotechnology / Environmental Science / Life Science or equivalent with minimum 60% marks

3. Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint; ability to manage documents, spreadsheets, and reports effectively

4. Good communication skills and ability to draft/prepare letters in English<br

Key Responsibilities:

1. Monitoring coastal aquaculture establishments; collection of water, soil, and animal samples

2. Processing proposals and certification of coastal aquaculture units

3. Analysis of water quality and ecological parameters; submission of detailed reports

4. Collection of samples of aqua inputs from farms, retailers, and distributors

5. Conducting field surveys, training, and awareness programs

6. Timely submission of monthly reports to Headquarters

7. Any other work assigned by the Competent Authority

Initial Screening:
