Tenure of Engagement for Bharat Heavy Electrical Limited Recruitment 2026 for Part Time Medical Consultant
The term of engagement for the Part Time Medical Consultant (PTMC) will initially be one year.
Subsequent renewals may be granted for a maximum of three years at a time, based on the discretion of the management.
A one-month notice period shall apply on either side in case of resignation or premature termination of the contract.
Duration of Work
Monday to Friday: 4 hours per day.
Remuneration for Bharat Heavy Electrical Limited Recruitment 2026 for Part Time Medical Consultant
- 500/- per hour
Conveyance Charges
- Reimbursable on actuals, subject to a ceiling of 4500/- per month for travel up to 30 km (one way)
- For travel beyond 30 km (one way), the ceiling is 6000/- per month
Activities Description
The PTMC will be involved in the following duties:
a) Consultation for Employees, Retired Employees, Eligible Beneficiaries, Apprentices, Contract Workers, and Others
b) Conducting periodical medical check-ups for employees engaged in hazardous operations
c) Preventive health check-ups for employees above 40 years and their spouse
d) General administrative responsibilities at the Occupational Health Centre (OHC)
Selection Process
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a Personal Interview.
Medical Fitness
Selected candidates must submit a medical fitness certificate issued by a registered Medical Officer at the time of joining.
