Introduction: Eklavya Vidayala Sangathan Samiti Dehradun Vacancy has announced vacancy for the recruitment of PGT and TGT at Eklavya Adarsh Awasiya Vidhyalay (Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS), Mairawana (Chakrata) & Kalsi, Dehradun. The EMRS has announced the vacancy for various subjects for the posts of Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) and Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) on the contractual basis for the academic session 2022-23 & 2023-24. All candidates those who are interested and eligible are requested to attend the walk-in- interview on 12th to 13th January 2023 from 9:00 am onwards.
The selection of candidates will be done on the basis of performance in the interview.

About School
The sanction of Eklavya Model Residential School was given by the Ministry of Tribal Affair, Govt of India, under article 275(1) as per the Gazette notification no- 14020/11/2002-SG&C dt. – 19.02.2004. The vidyalaya was started on dt. 2nd Aug. 2010. The Vidyalaya is being run by Tribal Welfare Dept., Govt. of Uttarakhand, under the supervision of a registered society named Eklavya Vidyalaya Sangathan Samiti, Dehradun.
The Vidyalaya is meant for talented children predominantly from rural/tribal areas of Uttarakhand. Vidyalaya is co-educational and fully residential. The Vidyalaya is running up to class XII. The Govt. is providing free education including boarding and lodging along with free uniforms, textbooks, and stationery. The medium of instruction is bilingual up to class VIII and English afterwards. 50% of seats are reserved for girls. The management of Vidyalaya is being looked after by Eklavya Vidyalaya Sangathan Samiti, Dehradun, headed by Principal Secretary, Dept. of Social Welfare, Govt. of Uttarakhand.
