IIT Delhi Summer Research Fellowship 2026, The IIT Delhi Summer Research Fellowship 2026, offered by the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, is a prestigious opportunity for outstanding undergraduate and M.Tech/M.E. students from engineering institutions across India. This programme enables participants to engage in innovative research and development projects under the direct mentorship of IIT Delhi faculty members. Eligibility & Deadline for IIT Delhi Summer Research Fellowship 2026
Application Deadline: 03 April 2026
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be a student from any engineering institute in India (excluding Indian Institute of Technology Delhi)
- Be an undergraduate student who has completed at least 2 years of an engineering degree OR
- Be an M.Tech/M.E. student who has completed at least the first semester
- Rank within the top 10 students in their respective programme/branch
- (For M.Tech/M.E. students) Have secured a minimum of 70% marks or a CGPA of 7.0 on a 10-point scale after the first semester

Selected candidates will receive the following during the 8-week fellowship:
- Fellowship of ₹2,000 per week
- Travel support (sleeper class train fare within India)
- Free boarding and lodging at IIT Delhi hostels
- Registration as a visiting student at IIT Delhi (no registration fee required)

- Consolidated grade card (PDF format)
- Rank certificate
- No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the parent institution
