Introduction: GITAM University Center for Distance Learning Courses, the university was formerly known as GITAM University and now as Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management the university itself came into existence in 1980 by the leading industrialists and intellectuals in Andhra Pradesh. However, GITAM University Center for Distance Learning came into existence on a unique day 9-9-2009 recognized by Distance Education Council (DEC) on the recommendation of the joint committee of UGC-AICTE-DEC. The university’s CDL division started offering 13 programs since 2009-10. The university has many campuses in Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad and Bangalore in India.
The university is recognized by the University grants commission (UGC), Distance Education Council (DEC) and also accredited by NAAC grade A. Perhaps these accreditation motivate the varsity to offer a wide range of programs and quality study material to learners. Also got the UGC approval to start online courses UG and PG courses, so that admission to award of degree is possible online with the user friendly LMS platform
The university is determined to provide competitive and futuristic education to the students all over India as well as in overseas in many technological and managerial fields. The university follows the entire global standard of pedagogy which also includes regular research work and consultancy. GITAM University Center for Distance Learning Courses Admission Process
- GITAM University offers distance education in an offline mode. You can download the application form for GITAM DDE from its official website. To be considered for GITAM, applicants must submit a filled-out application form at the school’s admission centre.
- For UG and PG programs, the registration fee isINR 1000. Payments can be made through debit cards, credit cards, or net banking. The courses available for DDE include BCOM, BA, MA, MSC, MCA, and more. There will be a late fee for candidates who missed out on admission to GITAM UG and PG programs. Late fee is also charged as per the date of admission.
