ISI 2021 Exam Application Form

To make the process clear we have collectivized few points for you guys, through which one can go about filling the application form easily and hassle free. The application and registration process is completely online following the steps below to successful registration.

  • Visit the official website of the ISI examination (https://www.isical.ac.in/).
  • Open the application form and fill in the details like personal details, academics details, communication details, address.
  • Candidates then have to Upload scanned photograph and signature in accordance to the guidelines.
  • The photographs should be a maximum size of 50 KB and the signature should be of 30KB either in Jpeg or Jpg.
  • Next step is to pay the application fee by using debit card, credit card or online banking
  • For offline mode fee submission E-Challan can be used by paying cash at any SBI branch.
  • For future reference candidates must keep a copy of form submitted confirmation page.

ISI 2021 Eligibility Criteria

The ISI authority determines the eligibility criteria for the undergraduate and post graduate courses. It is very important for an applicant to fulfill the criteria to secure a seat in ISI.

B Math(Hons)

An applicant must have successfully completed +2 with Mathematics and English as subjects. All applicants except the INMO AWARDEES, will have to appear for two written tests comprising of questions at the 10+2 level. And then for the interviews.
M Stat An applicant must have  a three-year Bachelor’s degree or a BE/B Tech degree with Statistics as a subject, or a B Math degree from ISI, or a Post-Graduate Diploma in Statistical Methods from ISI. The candidates will have to go through the regular admission process with the written test and interview.
M Math An applicant must have a three year Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, or a BE/B Tech Degree, with Mathematics as a subject, or a B Stat degree from ISI. The candidates with B Math (Pass) degree from ISI, will have to appear for the written admission tests and subsequent interview.
MS in Quantitative Economics MS (QE) An applicant must have a three-year Bachelor’s degree in Economics/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Physics, or a B Stat degree from ISI, or a BE/ B Tech degree or any other qualification considered equivalent (such as AMIE). Candidates will have to appear for the written tests and subsequent interview. Academic records may also be taken into consideration.
MS in Quality Management Science MS (QMS) An applicant must have a three-year Bachelor’s degree with Mathematics as a subject, or a BE/ B Tech degree. Candidates will have to appear for the written tests and subsequent interview. Academic records may also be taken into consideration.
MS in Library and Information Science[MS (LIS) An applicant must have a three-year Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. Candidates will have to appear for the written tests and subsequent interview. Academic records may also be taken into consideration.
PGD in Statistical Methods & Analytics An applicant must have a domicile certificate of North-Eastern states from a recognized authority, and has one of the following: a three-year Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with Mathematics as a subject; OR a BE/B Tech degree or any other qualification considered equivalent (such as AMIE). Candidates will have to appear for the written tests and subsequent interview. Academic records may also be taken into consideration.
PGD in computer applications An applicant must have a three-year Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with Mathematics as a subject. Candidates will have to appear for the written tests and subsequent interview. Academic records may also be taken into consideration.

 

ISI 2021 Exam Pattern

ISI 2021 is an offline exam which means it will be conducted with pen and paper so candidates must be prepared accordingly.

The most important factor to prepare for any entrance exam is to first know about the exam pattern such as mode of paper, language, Types of questions asked etc. To get acquainted with

  • The examination will be taken through the Offline Mode (Pen Paper-based Test).
  • The questions will be asked in the (MCQ) Multiple Choice Question Format.
  • The question paper is divided into two sections ie. (Section A and Section B).
  • The total exam duration is of 2 hours (120 Minutes).

ISI 2021 Exam Admit Card

The admit card will be available online by the third week of April 2021. It can be downloaded by entering User ID and Password in the website.

If any student will find any discrepancy on the data shown on the admit card should right away consult the ISI 2021 examination authority so that necessary changes can be done on time.

For admission into the examination all students have to get their admit card checked so it is very important to carry the admit card during the examination. Also a government authorized ID proof should also be carried during the examination.

ISI 2021 Exam Answer Key

The ISI 2021 entrance exam answer key will be published by the second week of March 2021 on its online portal by the officials.

The first release of answer key will be on provisional basis so that the candidates can make challenges against the released answer key.

Post the challenges of questions are complete a final answer key will be published.

ISI 2021 Exam Result

The ISI 2021 entrance exam will publish around last week of May 2021. The results can only be obtained through signing into the official website by using the same login credentials created at the time of registration.

The ISI 2021 entrance exam result will comprise of merit list. Students are requested to take the print out of the Scorecard for use in further admission process. The applicants will then be invited to a personal interview and document verification round.

The ISI entrance exam result will contain the name of the candidate, rank, marks obtained, registration number etc.

 

ISI 2021 Admission

The Indian Statistics Institute conducts the admission on the basis of Merit list, Personal Interview, Written Test, Verification of Documents, etc.

The document verification process will be done and then list of seat allocation and waiting list will be declared.

The documents required for admission are as follows 10th and 12th Mark Sheets and Certificate, ISI 2021 Admit Card, ISI 2021 Result, Medical Fitness Certificate, Transfer Certificate and Passport Size Photographs, Etc.
