Introduction: Kakatiya University Distance Education Courses is well known university for open learning located in Warangal, Telangana. The Kakatiya University Distance Education was established in 1976 with the aim to provide high quality education to the needy population of the state who are deprived of education due to socio economic reasons. The university offers number of courses under correspondence courses. At present, there are 7 UG, and 18 PG-Level degree programs offered by Kakatiya University (SDLCE). To give you all an overview of the program the university offers BA, B.Com, B.SC, BBS, B.Lis, B.Ed, MA, M.Com, M.Sc, MSW, etc. Interested candidates can apply through online or offline modes.
For admission in Undergraduate courses the students should have a pass certificate of 10+2 passing marks. For admission in MBA, score card of ICET exam is required and for admission in LLB programs students have to clear TSLA entrance exam.
The university is duly recognized by the UGC grants commission, Distance Education Bureau and also have NAAC grade “A” certificate.

How to Apply?
- Students can download the registration form from the website
- Students can obtain the registration form from SDLCE KU Office or SDLCE Study Registration Centres.
- Students will be required to fill the mandatory data and affix the passport size photo.
- Application Fees: The registration process fees for the UG program is 100 rupees, and for the PG program is 450/- for the open and general category, whereas, for the reserved category, the fees are 350/-, and for the PG diploma courses, the fee is 250/- rupees.
Documents Required
These documents are required at the time of submitting the form of application.
- Original as well as the photocopy of the Transfer Certificate (TC) from the last attended institute is a must.
- Photocopy of last successfully finalized examination degree or provisional certificate.
- Students from other universities have to submit an original certificate of Migration.
- For SC, ST, and OBC candidates, Xerox of Caste Certification is a must.
- Photocopy of Birth Certificate, SSC, or matriculation as proof of birth.
- Photocopy of mark sheet of Matriculation or SSC.
- Photocopy of mark sheet of Intermediate or equivalent examination.
- Photocopy of mark sheet of the degree examination (if applicable)
- Original and photocopy of the fees receipt
- Passport-size photographs (Colored).
