2 Sr. Manager – Electrical Engineering 1 Qualification: First Class Degree in Electrical Engineering; M.Tech in Electrical/Power Systems (preferred); BEE Certified Energy Manager (desirable). Experience: Minimum 20+ years in electrical engineering with experience in airports/metro/large infrastructure projects. Hands-on experience with substations (33kV/11kV), DG sets, UPS systems, Airfield Ground Lighting, SCADA/BMS, terminal electrical systems, and solar plants. Minimum 5 years in a managerial role. Knowledge of HT/LT systems, energy optimization, protection systems, electrical safety regulations, and power reliability systems. Maximum 52 years ₹1,50,000 per month (higher salary may be offered to experienced candidates)
3 Sr. Manager – HR 1 Qualification: First Class Graduate with MBA/PGDBM in HR from a recognized institution. Desirable: Certification in Labour Laws, Industrial Relations, HR Analytics, or Talent Management. Experience: Minimum 20 years in HR roles in reputed corporate sectors, including at least 3 years in a senior managerial position. Experience in workforce management, industrial relations, union handling, contract manpower management, HR policy formulation, and compliance with labour laws. Maximum 52 years ₹1,50,000 per month (higher salary may be offered to experienced candidates)
4 Junior Assistant 6 Qualification: First Class Graduate (Non-Engineering) OR 3-year Diploma holders (with Plus-2) with First Class. Experience: 1 year post-qualification experience required for diploma holders. No experience required for candidates from evictee families. How to apply?

General Instructions for Applicants

  1. Applications must be submitted only through the online mode. Applications received through any other method will be rejected. However, candidates applying under the evictee category must submit the online application and also send a hard copy along with a self-attested copy of the Land Acquisition Certificate (LAC).
  2. Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply for these positions.
  3. Applicants must ensure that they meet all eligibility criteria and requirements specified in the official notification before applying. The information provided in the online application form should be accurate and complete. If at any stage it is found that a candidate does not meet the eligibility conditions or has provided incorrect or misleading information, the application will be rejected.
  4. The cut-off date for determining eligibility regarding age, qualifications, and experience is 31 January 2026.
  5. Applications will be screened based on the information provided in the online form, including qualification, age, and experience relevant to the post.
  6. A non-refundable application fee of ₹500 is required from all applicants, except those applying under the evictee category.
  7. Candidates must upload a recent passport-size photograph (maximum size 21 KB) in JPG, GIF, or PNG format, with dimensions 150 × 173 pixels. The same photograph must also be affixed to the admit card if shortlisted for the next stage.
  8. The last date to submit the online application is 31 March 2026 at 5:00 PM (IST). Applicants are advised to apply well before the deadline to avoid last-minute issues.
  9. The selection process will consist of a written test and an interview. If the number of eligible candidates exceeds 100, a written test will be conducted to shortlist candidates for the interview stage.
    • The minimum qualifying mark in the written test is 50% for all candidates except those under the evictee category.
    • Senior Manager positions will not require a written test; selection will be based on qualifications and interview performance.
  10. Candidates shortlisted for the next stage must present original documents for verification. If any information provided in the online application is found to be false or inaccurate, the candidate will be disqualified.
  11. All important documents such as admit cards for the written test and interview call letters will be available online and can be downloaded using the application number and date of birth. Candidates should regularly check the official careers page for updates.
  12. Kannur International Airport Limited reserves the right to accept or reject any application without providing any reason.
  13. TA/DA will not be provided to candidates attending the written test or interview.
  14. Any attempt to influence or interfere with the selection process will result in immediate rejection of the application and may also affect eligibility for future opportunities.
  15. Selected candidates may be assigned to any department or function within the company and may also be transferred or deputed to other branches, subsidiaries, or joint ventures.
  16. Employees may be required to work in shifts as per operational requirements of the company.
  17. Candidates eligible under the evictee category, as per the applicable Government Orders, will receive relaxation in age, qualification, and marks as specified in the notification.
  18. The evictee category refers to individuals whose houses were acquired during land acquisition for the construction of Kannur International Airport, in accordance with the relevant Government Orders. Applicants must possess a Land Acquisition Certificate (LAC) either in their own name or in the name of a direct family member such as parents, grandparents, or siblings.
  19. Evictee category applicants must apply online and also send a printed copy of the application to:
    The Managing Director, Kannur International Airport Ltd, Kannur International Airport PO, Mattannur, Kannur – 670708, along with proof of eligibility and a copy of the LAC in a sealed envelope. The envelope should be clearly marked “Application for the Post of Junior Assistant (Under Evictee Category)”.
  20. The employment benefit for LAC holders can be provided only once and for a single post.
  21. Candidates currently working in Government Departments, PSUs, or Autonomous Bodies must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer at the time of the interview.
  22. The decision of Kannur International Airport Limited regarding eligibility, document verification, selection stages, and recruitment procedures will be final and binding.
  23. KIAL reserves the right not to fill the advertised vacancies if suitable candidates are not available.
  24. Any legal dispute related to this recruitment process will fall under the jurisdiction of Kannur District courts.
