Selection Process

Stage 1: First Tier Online Examination
Computer-Based Test (CBT) carrying 100 marks with 100 objective-type questions.
Subjects include Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language, Gujarati Language, General Knowledge, and Computer Knowledge.
Each incorrect answer will attract a penalty of 0.25 marks.
Minimum qualifying marks are 50 for Unreserved candidates and 45 for Reserved, EWS, and PwD candidates.
Normalization of marks may be applied if the examination is conducted in multiple sessions.
Stage 2: Second Tier Online Examination
CBT comprising 100 questions of 100 marks based exclusively on Electrical Engineering.
Negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong response.
Minimum qualifying marks remain 50 for General candidates and 45 for Reserved, EWS, and PwD categories.
Final merit ranking will be prepared based on marks obtained in this examination.
Widow female candidates (not remarried) will receive an additional 5% grace benefit on the marks secured.
