What is the admission process in Medical Colleges in Meghalaya?
The admission process starts around third week of June, North East Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS) which is located in Shillong releases the admission application.
Candidates should have a valid NEET qualification certificate with the minimum qualifying percentage.
What is NEET exam?
The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test- Undergraduate (NEET (UG), which is a succeeded from All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT). The entrance exam is designed for selection of students for undergraduate medical courses (MBBS) and dental courses (BDS) in government or private medical colleges.

NEET exam is now conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) around in the month of May. The qualifying document provided by the agency is required for admission counseling in the Medical Colleges.

Eligibility criteria for Medical Colleges in Meghalaya
The eligibility for admission in MBBS and BDS colleges in Meghalaya is to have 10+2 pass certificate with Physics, Chemistry & Biology with minimum of 50% marks for general candidates and 45% for OBC.
MBBS admission fees and bond details in medical college
The fees for a year is INR 6020/= total in the government medical college. Whereas a bond money of INR 10,000,00/- is pledged with duly attested stamp paper stating that if any student leaves the course before its completion will have to pay the pledged amount.
