Stage1: To begin the application process for Jharkhand Polytechnic, please follow the steps below:

Stage2: Payment of Application Fee

  • Scanned passport size colored photograph of candidate (4 KB to 100 KB). The candidates’ should be straight facing to the camera with both ears clearly visible.
  • Scanned signature of candidate (1 KB to 30 KB).
  • Scanned left thumb impression of candidate (1 KB to 30 KB).
  • Enter the Security Pin.
  • Click on ‘Upload’.

 

 

Polytechnic Colleges in Jharkhand Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility requirements for aspiring candidates to apply for Jharkhand Polytechnic are as follows:

  1. Nationality: Candidates must be citizens of India.
  2. Age Criteria: While there is no specified age limit mentioned for general applicants, candidates applying for the diploma in mining engineering must be at least 17 years old.
  3. Domicile Requirement: Only candidates who are permanent residents or local residents of Jharkhand are eligible to apply. To support their eligibility, every candidate must submit a Local Residential Certificate issued by the Jharkhand Government.
  4. Educational Qualification: Candidates must have successfully passed Class 10th or an equivalent examination from a recognized board. Even students who are currently appearing for their Class 10th examinations are eligible to fill the PCECE Application Form.

Polytechnic Colleges in Jharkhand counseling process

JCECEB, after the release of the rank list, will initiate the counseling process for polytechnic admissions. The number of counseling rounds conducted depends on the availability of vacant seats after each round, typically consisting of up to three rounds per year.

To participate in the counseling rounds, candidates are required to pay the counseling fee. General and OBC candidates must pay INR 400, while female and SC/ST candidates need to pay INR 250. It is important to note that the counseling fee is non-refundable once paid. Candidates have the option to make the payment through Bank Challan, Post Office Challan, or Indian Postal Order.

  1. Class 10 or equivalent exam mark sheet and Passing Certificate
  2. PECE Admit Card
  3. PECE Rank Card
  4. Counselling Call letter
