Sagarmala Finance Corporation Limited Recruitment 2026 for Head of Internal Audit, Sagarmala Finance Corporation Limited (SMFCL), formerly known as Sagarmala Development Company Limited, is a Schedule ‘B’ Mini Ratna Category-I Central Public Sector Enterprise operating under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Government of India. The organization is also registered with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) as a Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC).

Head of Internal Audit (HIA) – Vacancy Details

Educational Qualification:
Applicants must possess a professional qualification of Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost and Management Accountant (ICWAI/CMA).

Tenure of Engagement:
The appointment will be made on a contract basis for an initial period of one year. The contract may be extended further depending on the candidate’s performance and the organization’s requirements.

Age Limit:
Candidates should not be more than 63 years of age as of the prescribed cut-off date.

Experience Requirements:
Applicants must have at least 20 years of post-qualification professional experience, including a minimum of 12 years in Finance, Audit, Compliance, Legal, or Risk Management functions within NBFCs, banks, or other financial institutions.

The position is intended for retired officers from the Central Government, State Governments, Central or State Public Sector Undertakings, Autonomous Bodies, or comparable organizations who have served at a rank equivalent to E-6 level or above.

Remuneration:
The selected candidate will receive a consolidated monthly remuneration of ₹90,000.
