Selection Procedure
The selection process for the STPI Apprentice Trainee Recruitment 2026 will be conducted according to the provisions mentioned in the official recruitment notification. Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the interview. The final selection will be carried out by a Screening-cum-Selection Committee, depending on the vacancies available in different disciplines. Reservation benefits will be provided in accordance with the applicable Government of India rules.

Terms and Conditions
Only candidates who have completed their Degree or Diploma qualification in June 2021 or later will be considered for engagement as Apprentice Trainees. Candidates who have previously completed an apprenticeship at STPI or any other organization will not be eligible for the current apprenticeship engagement.
Registration on the NATS Portal is mandatory before applying through the STPI portal. Candidates must enter their NATS Enrolment ID while completing the STPI online application.
The stipend will be provided through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system. The eligible Government share of the stipend will be credited directly to the apprentice’s bank account through the NATS portal.
STPI currently operates 73 centres across different locations in India. The apprenticeship engagement will be governed by the provisions of the Apprenticeship Act, 1961, along with amendments made from time to time. The apprenticeship period will be one year. Only applications submitted through the prescribed online application process will be accepted.
