About CEED 2022 Entrance Exam
According to Wikipedia the Common Entrance for Design (CEED) is a joint entrance exam for post graduate studies in the field of technology design held annually jointly at all IITs and Indian Institute of Science (IISc). The CEED 2022 examination is hosted by the Industrial Design Center, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay on behalf of Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.
The entrance test is aimed at evaluating a student’s logical, creative, observation and drawing skills, tested in particular for admission to various design courses in the fields of product design, Industrial design, visual communication, animation graphics, vehicle design and mobility.
CEED is also a national level entrance test for admission into M. Design & Ph. D courses. The validity of the score is valid only for one year during this time candidates can seek admission in any one of the IITs or IISc in India.

CEED 2022 Application Form Process

CEED 2022 Eligibility Criteria
The CEED 2022 exam eligibility criterion is very important because only candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria will be allowed to appear in the exam. To know whether you are eligible or not follow the guiding principle below.

· No age limit is prescribed for CEED exam. · Students will be also eligible to apply through GATE Scores. · Those who are in the final year of their graduation are eligible to apply. Such students must provide their passing proof during admission. |

· Students must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Architecture/ Design/ Interior Design or its equivalent after 10+2 level from a recognized board or university OR · Completed a 5 year programme in G.D. Art with one year post qualification professional experience after 10th level OR · Completed a Professional Diploma in Design such as NID/ CEPT or its equivalent after 12th level exams OR · Completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) of 4 yrs after 12th level exams. |
CEED 2022 Exam Pattern
- CEED 2022 exam will be conducted in the third week of January 2022 through online CBT mode. However, Part B of the paper will be in offline mode.
- The paper will be divided into two parts – A & B.
- There will be a total of three sections in the exam.
- The Part A will consist of multiple select type & numerical answer type of questions. Part B will have drawing based questions.
- The exam will be of total 3 hours duration. The exam paper of part A will be of 1 hour and Part B will be of 2 hour.
- Part A and Part B will be of 100 marks each.
- The exam paper will be in the medium language of English.
- The marks weightage are allotted part wise which means that 25% weightage of marks will be given for Part A & 75% weightage to Part B.

Questions from General awareness of environmental factors such as climate, natural resources, etc., Implications on the design of infrastructure, products, images and environment. Awareness of social and cultural connection with design and design terminologies, etc.

CEED 2022 Exam Preparation tips

CEED 2022 Exam Admit Card
The CEED 2022 Admit Card will be available online by January 2022. It will have the details like name of candidate and allotted examination center for the entrance exam.

For admission into the examination all students have to get their admit card checked at the entrance, so it is very important to carry the admit card during the examination. Also a government authorized ID proof should also be carried during the examination.
CEED 2022 Exam Answer Key
The CEED 2022 Answer key will be released online by the fourth week of January 2022. The answer is created in the PDF format which is downloadable from the website.
The candidate can compare their answers with official answer key and if any objection is found they can challenge the answer by the last week of January 2022. The final answer key will released after that which will be around first week of February 2022.
CEED 2022 Exam Result
The CEED2022 entrance exam result will be published around first week of March 2022 on the official website. The results can only be obtained through signing into the official website by using the login credentials created.
The qualifying candidates will also be shortlisted in the merit list. The scoreboard of CEED exam will have details like candidate’s rank, qualifying status and position.
The validity of the CEED score is for one year only.

CEED 2022 Merit List
The CEED 2022 merit list will be prepared based on the candidates who have scored marks according to the cut off released.
The merit list will be shared on the official portal of the CEED examination.
Those students who will make their name into the merit list will be shortlisted for counseling process. .
CEED 2022 Admission Process
The candidates can choose a particular campus for themselves for admission but the admission will depend upon the scorecard and participating institute.
