JKLU & HSB Scholarship-cum-Admission Seats (SAS) Program 2026, The JKLU & HSB Scholarship-cum-Admission Seats (SAS) Program 2026 is a special initiative introduced by JK Lakshmipat University and the Hari Shankar Singhania School of Business to support students aspiring to build careers in Design or pursue an MBA in Product Management.
The programme aims to make quality education accessible to deserving students by identifying talented and high-performing candidates and providing them with admission opportunities along with tuition fee scholarships based on academic merit and financial need. Eligibility Criteria
JKLU Design Programmes (B.Des & M.Des)
Eligibility for Bachelor of Design (B.Des)
Applicants must:-
secure a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in Class 12, including English and three additional subjects (excluding subjects where internal marks contribute 50% or more)
have passed from a recognised Central Board, State Board, or an AIU-approved foreign board
note that Foreign Nationals, PIOs, and NRIs are also eligible based on equivalent Class 12 qualifications
understand that students appearing for their final Class 12 examinations can apply provisionally, subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria later
appear for the mandatory JK Design Entrance Test (JK-DET) as part of the admission process
Eligibility for Master of Design (M.Des)
Applicants must:-
have secured at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA in a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university, irrespective of discipline
note that students appearing in the final year of their bachelor’s degree are also eligible to apply
appear for the compulsory JK-DET entrance examination for admission eligibility
Scholarship Benefits
Merit-Based Scholarships
Scholarships are awarded based on Class 12 performance, JK-DET scores, and portfolio evaluation.
Minimum Requirement: Applicants must have secured at least 50% aggregate marks in Class 12, including English and three subjects selected by the candidate.
Based on Class 12 Marks
50% scholarship for scores above 90%
25% scholarship for scores between 80% and 89.99%
Based on JK-DET Scores
50% scholarship for JK-DET scores above 90
25% scholarship for JK-DET scores above 80
Portfolio-Based Scholarship
25% scholarship for candidates securing a portfolio score of 4 or above
National Design Entrance Examination Scholarships
Students scoring above the prescribed cut-off in entrance examinations such as:-
NID
NIFT
UCEED
JK-DET
will be eligible for a 25% scholarship for each applicable examination.
Other Scholarships
Alumni/Sibling Scholarship: 20% scholarship for candidates with sibling or alumni connections at JK Lakshmipat University
Single Girl Child Scholarship: 10% scholarship for single girl children without siblings
Special Category Scholarship: 10% scholarship for defence personnel wards, differently-abled students, candidates from Jammu & Kashmir, and other eligible categories
Sports & Achievement Scholarship: Available for students with exceptional achievements in sports or other recognised fields
Scholarship Terms
If a student qualifies for multiple scholarships, only the scholarship with the highest value will be granted.
Continuation of scholarships will depend on academic performance during the programme.
