Qualification & Experience
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates should possess a Graduate Degree in Engineering in the relevant discipline along with a minimum of 20 years of experience in the concerned field.
- Applicants must have at least 5 years of experience at the level of Chief Engineer.
- Out of the above experience, candidates should have served for a minimum of 1 year in a position directly below the Board level in a State Electricity Board or as a member of the Board of Directors in a Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) within the power sector.
- Preference will be given to candidates holding an MBA or equivalent qualification from a reputed management institute.
- The Competent Selection Authority may relax the prescribed qualifications and experience requirements in deserving cases.
Eligibility Conditions for Private Sector Executives
Executives from the private sector can also apply, provided they meet the following conditions:
- They should be working in companies having an annual turnover of more than Rs. 500 crore.
- Candidates must be serving either at the Board level or in a Non-Board level role directly reporting to the Board of Directors, i.e., one level below the Board.
- The company in which the applicant is employed should be listed on a recognized stock exchange.
Note: Candidates who have already served as Functional Director or Whole-time Director in Maharashtra State Power Generation Company Ltd. for a maximum of two terms, including the current or remaining tenure, will not be eligible to apply for the post of Director (Projects), MSPGCL.

Compensation
The compensation package for the post will be broadly comparable to that offered by similar-sized PSUs. However, the salary is negotiable.

Duration of Appointment
- The appointment will be on a contract/deputation basis for a period of 3 years.
- The contract will be reviewed annually based on performance.
Residential Accommodation
- Unfurnished residential accommodation may be provided by the company at concessional rent, subject to availability.
- If accommodation is not allotted, House Rent Allowance (HRA) will be paid as per company rules applicable to employees.
