Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Matriculation or its equivalent examination and possess an ITI Certificate in Electrician Trade or Wireman Trade from a recognized NCVT/SCVT institution. Applicants must also have studied Punjabi at the Matriculation level.
Pay Scale: Selected candidates will receive a basic pay of ₹19,900 per month as per the applicable PSPCL pay structure and provisions of the 7th CPC.

Selection Procedure

Stage 1: Computer-Based Online Examination
The online test will consist of two separate parts:
Part-I: Punjabi Language Test
- 50 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
- Candidates must score at least 25 marks out of 50 (50%) to qualify.
- This section is qualifying in nature only.
- Candidates failing to secure the minimum qualifying marks will not be considered for the final merit list.
Part-II: Main Examination
The main examination will consist of 100 objective-type questions distributed as follows:
- Technical Subject (Electrician/Wireman Related): 50 Questions
- Punjabi Language: 20 Questions
- General Knowledge: 10 Questions
- Reasoning Ability: 10 Questions
- Arithmetic: 10 Questions
Examination Pattern
- Each correct answer carries 1 mark.
- No negative marking will be applied.
- Total duration of the examination will be 180 minutes.
- The question paper will be bilingual (English and Punjabi), except for Punjabi language questions.

Merit List Preparation
