Through the scholarship and mentorship programme, OakNorth seeks to promote women’s participation in STEM education and support students from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds in building stronger educational and career opportunities.

 

  Eligibility

Deadline: 20 September 2026

To apply for the OakNorth Scholarship and Mentorship Programme 2026–27, applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:

• The applicant must be domiciled in Bihar or Jharkhand.
• Only female students are eligible to apply.
• Applicants must be studying in the first year of a STEM degree covering Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics at a government college. The college can be located anywhere in India, provided the applicant has valid proof of domicile from Bihar or Jharkhand.
• Applicants must have secured at least 75% marks in Class 12.
• The applicant’s total annual parental income from all sources must not exceed INR 3,00,000.
• Children of employees of OakNorth or Buddy4Study are not eligible.
