ONGC Recruitment 2026 for Junior and Associate Consultants Applications are now invited, ONGC’s Well Services division under the Ahmedabad Asset is seeking applications from experienced retired ONGC professionals belonging to the Production and Drilling disciplines. Eligible candidates may apply for the positions of Junior Consultant and Associate Consultant on a contractual basis for a tenure of two years.

The selected consultants will be deployed as competent personnel in shift and general-shift roles on charter-hired and O&M-operated Workover Rigs of Ahmedabad Asset. Their primary responsibility will be to oversee and monitor workover operations, ensuring safe and efficient execution of field activities.

The selection process will include a written test followed by an interaction/interview.

Total Marks 100

Written Test:

  • The test will be conducted in offline (pen-and-paper) mode.
  • Question papers will be available in both English and Hindi.
  • The examination will consist of 20 objective-type multiple-choice questions.
  • Candidates will be given 60 minutes to complete the test.
  • Each question will carry 2.5 marks, making the total score 50 marks.
  • No negative marks will be deducted for incorrect answers.

Qualifying Criteria:

  • Candidates must secure at least 15 marks out of 50 (30%) in the written test to qualify for the next stage.
  • Shortlisted candidates will be invited for the interaction/interview round.
  • To qualify in the interaction/interview, candidates must obtain a minimum of 10 marks out of 20 (50%).

Final Merit List:

The final merit ranking will be prepared based on the cumulative marks obtained in all evaluation parameters, including experience, academic qualifications, written test performance, and interaction/interview. Engagement offers will be issued to candidates according to their position in the overall merit list.

Travel Allowance:

No TA, DA, or accommodation facility will be provided for attending the written test, interview, or interaction process.
