Muskaan Scholarship Program 2.0 (2026-27) Applications are now open, Recognizing the importance of uninterrupted education for deserving students, the Muskaan Scholarship Program 2.0 (2026–27) has been launched by Valvoline Cummins Private Ltd. (VCPL) to support the children of commercial drivers (LMV/HMV), mechanics, and students belonging to Economically Weaker Sections (EWS). Through this initiative, students studying in Classes 9 to 12 across Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Odisha, Tripura, Puducherry, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, and West Bengal can receive financial assistance of up to ₹12,000 to help meet their educational expenses.

In addition to financial support, selected students will benefit from a structured mentorship program designed to guide them in overcoming academic challenges, setting meaningful goals, and building confidence for future success. The mentorship component aims to encourage personal growth and enhance students’ overall learning experience.

Eligibility Criteria for Muskaan Scholarship Program 2.0 (2026-27) Applications are now open

Students from financially disadvantaged backgrounds who are currently studying in Classes 9 to 12 can apply for the Muskaan Scholarship Program 2.0 (2026–27), provided they meet the following requirements:

  • Applicants must be enrolled in Classes 9 to 12 during the academic year 2026–27.
  • The scholarship is available to students residing in Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Odisha, Tripura, Puducherry, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, and West Bengal.
  • Children of commercial vehicle drivers (LMV/HMV), children of mechanics, and students belonging to the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) category are eligible to apply.
  • Candidates must have obtained at least 60% marks in their previous academic class.
  • The total annual family income from all sources should not exceed ₹8 lakh.
  • Children of employees working with Valvoline Cummins Private Ltd. (VCPL) or Buddy4Study are not eligible for this scholarship.

Scholarship Benefits for Muskaan Scholarship Program 2.0 (2026-27) Applications are now open

Selected students will receive:

  • Financial assistance of up to ₹12,000 based on actual educational expenses.
  • Mentorship support, including sessions focused on road safety awareness and personal development.

Documents Required

Applicants need to submit the following documents:

  • Government-issued identity proof
  • Current academic year admission proof (fee receipt, admission letter, institute ID card, or bonafide certificate)
  • Signed and stamped marksheet of the previous class

Proof of Parent’s Profession (Any One):

  • Commercial driving license (for drivers)
  • Shramik Card
  • Employer certification or self-declaration attested by the appropriate authority

Family Income Proof (Any One):

  • Income certificate issued by Gram Panchayat, Ward Councillor, or Sarpanch
  • Income certificate issued by SDM, DM, CO, or Tehsildar
  • Last three months’ salary slips or Income Tax Return (ITR)

Additional documents:

  • Applicant’s bank account details
  • Recent passport-size photograph

Important Note:

  • Scholarship payments will only be processed through the student’s own bank account. Parent or guardian bank account details will not be accepted.
  • Students who cannot immediately submit fee receipts may provide a fee letter issued by their institution and submit the final receipts later through the scholar tracking system.
