Medical Colleges in Assam Eligibility Criteria
The aspirants looking forward for admission in ASSAM for admission in MBBS courses and Dental (BDS) course should read the eligibility criteria first before applying. The admission process and eligibility criteria are governed by the Directorate of Medical Education of Assam.
For the admission purpose the NEET entrance exam is accepted in the participating medical colleges for both MBBS and Dental (BDS) Undergraduate courses.
Candidate should have a pass certificate of 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry Biology and English as subjects.
The aggregate pass percentile should be 60% in PCB for general category students and 50% for reserved category candidate.
The admission is only for citizen of India.
The candidate’s parents should be a permanent resident of Assam for minimum 20 years.
The minimum age of the candidate should be 17 years.
