Eligibility Criteria for admission in Medical Colleges in Ladakh

  • Candidates must be a citizen of India.
  • Candidates should have a pass certificate of 10+2 from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as subjects.
  • Minimum pass aggregate marks in the qualifying exams should be 50% for general students, 45% for general PH students and 40% for SC/ST/OBC.
  • Candidate should be minimum 17 years of age as on 31st December year of admission and maximum of 25 years of age.
  • Candidate must have cleared NEET entrance exam with minimum pass percentile for the admission in any one of the participating medical colleges in Ladakh.

What is the admission process in Medical Colleges in Ladakh?

 

  • Candidates looking for admission must have a 10+2 pass certificate with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as subjects with 50% qualifying marks.
  • A valid NEET UG score card with the qualifying cut off marks of the admission year. The candidates should register and apply for admission in to the chosen medical college.
  • Post short listing candidates might be called for admission counseling, documents verification and fee deposit.

 

What is NEET exam?

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test- Undergraduate (NEET (UG), which is a succeeded from All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT).
